Industry Leaders Take Center Stage at RAD Expo in October

Dauntless, an innovative technology company, and Salient Systems, a leader in video security, will deliver special presentations at the Retail and Dispensary (RAD) Expo this October in Portland, Oregon.

Jerry Tindall, Dauntless chief product officer, will talk about retail technology and how retailers can improve the customer experience while increasing consumer loyalty and product sales.

“As the industry evolves, retailers are moving from establishing their businesses to focusing on growth,” Tindall said. “With the RAD Expo completely focused on retail, it gives them a great forum to discuss strategic technology choices that support their future goals. Dauntless has a proven track record in providing reliable, industry-leading retail solutions, which is why we’re here helping retailers understand that there are better tools out there to support their future growth than many currently recognize.”

Salient Systems’ presentation will address how surveillance solutions ensure cannabis compliance. This will be the second time Salient has been an exhibitor at RAD. Ethan Maxon, the company’s director of key accounts, said the 2018 RAD Expo was “by far the best” cannabis event in which Salient participated over the previous two years, because it attracted highly targeted attendees and because of Portland’s mature cannabis market.

A limited number of sponsorships are still available. In addition to Dauntless and Salient Systems, Futurola USA has signed on as a gold sponsor, while UniWeb, a retail fixture manufacturer, Fairwinds Manufacturing, a cannabis and CBD producer, and KlickTrack, a retail and compliance software provider, will be silver sponsors.

Presented by Marijuana Venture, the RAD Expo is the only national trade show focused exclusively on the retail side of the cannabis industry. Admission is free for retail and dispensary owners and their employees. The third RAD Expo is Oct. 23-24 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon.
