Retail and Dispensary Expo brings on industry partners

Marijuana Venture is partnering with the NoCo Hemp Expo and Cannabis & Tech Today magazine to bring a larger, more inclusive experience to the fourth annual Retail and Dispensary (RAD), scheduled for October 6-7 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

“We’re really excited to partner with NoCo and Cannabis & Tech because they’re both world-class organizations that will help make the RAD Expo the most successful live event in the industry this year,” Marijuana Venture publisher Greg James says. “Plus, CBD is becoming more and more prevalent in health food stores, pet shops and grocers across the country.”

The national show has grown every year by being the industry’s only event focused specifically on retail.

“The retail market keeps getting bigger and bigger,” James says. “Illinois and Michigan have recently gotten their adult-use markets up and running, states like Missouri and Utah are lunching their medical programs, and the Oklahoma market has grown incredibly in the past year.”

The RAD Expo will include products and services for new and existing retail operators, including point-of-sale software, technology, fixtures, design, lighting, security, apparel, packaging, accessories, marketing and merchandising.

In light of the coronavirus pandemic, Marijuana Venture is exploring all options to keep attendees and participants safe, including extra space between exhibit booths; providing attendees with sponsored cloth masks and hand sanitizer for their protection and the protection of those around them; time slots for registration to control crowds; stanchions and six-foot markers on the floor to aid in social distancing measures; wiping down all registration devices and microphones after every use; reminding attendees of best hygiene practices through signage and notifications on the RAD Expo App; additional designated sanitation sites stocked with hand sanitizer and disposable disinfectant wipes; and checking all attendees’ temperature at the door and not allowing anyone with an elevated temperature to enter.
