Marijuana Venture kicked off its 2026 series of Interchange events with its spring event at the fabulous Cannonball Arts gallery in downtown Seattle on March 10-11. The event is the first of several Interchange shows connecting cannabis retail buyers and vendors in 2026.
“The show was a smash hit,” says Marijuana Venture publisher and Interchange founder Greg James.
“Interchange allowed our company to interact with over 48 stores in two days,” says Buddy Boy Farm co-founder DJ Parker. “It was a great vibe and everybody from the hosts to the processors to the stores were all very friendly and made it a fun place to be at. Nice job, Marijuana Venture team.”
The inaugural 2026 event in Seattle included multiple improvements to the show’s format including more meetings, a larger roster of buyers and the acclaimed REMIX format giving booths to producers and processors where they can showcase their wares and branding more effectively. The spring Interchange welcomed hundreds of cannabis professionals from the state’s retail, production and ancillary sectors.
Marijuana Venture’s business-only Interchange events match vendors and retailers in a series of private meetings designed to deliver participants the most bang for their buck through one-on-one meetings across two days. The event gives brands a great opportunity to meet with dozens of verified retail buyers to open new accounts, promote new products and strengthen existing business relationships.
Interchange was specifically created to save cannabis buyers and sellers time and money, by keeping operators focused doing business without the distractions that can occur at events that are open to the public or flooded with attendees.
The next Interchange events are March 25-26 in Lansing, Michigan, and June 9-10 in Seattle, Washington.
