Well over 3 billion cones manufactured since the company’s inception. More than 100 million cones produced monthly. Five times on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing companies in the United States.
The numbers speak for themselves, but Bryan Gerber has built a behemoth.
“I’m kind of a workaholic,” says the 34-year-old founder of Hara Brands, which now encompasses a handful of entities, including Hara Supply, Hemper and Goody Glass. “I love what I do. There’s a lot of passion, a lot of fulfillment.”
Gerber launched Hara Brands about 12 years ago. The company is headquartered in Las Vegas, but does most of its manufacturing in India, part of a strategy Gerber has advocated to diversify American manufacturing away from China.
In short, the business supplies the cannabis industry with rolling papers, packaging and other accessories, providing retail-ready products as well as wholesale cones and other needs to cannabis manufacturers, using data-driven strategies.
“I think part of why we’ve been successful is we not only create solutions, but we can scale with your business,” Gerber says. “A lot of brands and MSOs have no idea if a product is going to go bonkers or if it’s going to be a slow and steady rise. I think everyone’s still trying to figure out what their Coca-Cola is on the shelf. And we’re helping people discover and invent and innovate to figure that out.”
