Palram Americas, a leading manufacturer of polycarbonate and PVC sheets, recently announced its new ThermaGlas Opaque product, a white/black/white, polycarbonate multiwall sheet engineered for crops that require complete light deprivation or for applications requiring security against visibility from outside the structure.

The bright white exteriors of the panel help reflect light to optimize growing efficiency, while the black core ensures 0% light transmission. With co-extruded UV protection on both sides, thermal insulation properties and made to be virtually unbreakable, ThermaGlas Opaque can withstand a temperature range from minus-40 degrees to 212 degrees Fahrenheit and can also be cold-formed to an arch.
