Queen City Hemp

CEO Nicholas Balzer has taken an idealist approach to running Queen City Hemp ever since he co-founded the company in 2015.

“Our company is unique in that we’ve taken a leadership role to help set the standard for quality, testing and transparency in hemp-derived products,” Balzer says. “Just as not all CBD is created equally, not all CBD companies share our respect for the plant and our commitment to product quality and ingredient transparency.”

Product Details: Balzer says the company only uses “therapeutic-grade full-spectrum CBD” sourced from U.S. farms for its products. He also says all Queen City Hemp products, including beverages, tinctures and topicals, are created in-house in lieu of white-labeling products.

While sales show that Queen City Hemp’s leading product continues to be its 750-milligram CBD tincture, Balzer says its “guilt free” lines of CBD seltzers are the ones giving the company notoriety in the industry. The naturally flavored beverages contain 5 milligrams of full-spectrum CBD and no sugar, sodium or caffeine.

Growth: Queen City Hemp products can be found online and in 250 retail stores across 30 states.
