Marijuana Venture’s second Spokane Interchange went off without a hitch on August 16 and 17. While the Spokane Valley Event Center is quite a bit smaller than the Renton Pavilion, home to the Western Washington Interchange, Marijuana Venture nevertheless managed to host 28 cannabis retailers and 34 vendors for two days of one-on-one meetings and product reviews.
Many at the event commented that it was great to see a well-organized buy/sell business trade show on the east side of the state, and it was obvious that many deals were done. Participants also had an opportunity to explore the region and get a taste of the legal cannabis industry in and around Spokane, while others had fun meeting new friends while taking a swim or cruise in Lake Coeur d’Alene.
Marijuana Venture has three more interchange events scheduled for 2022: Portland, Oregon, on September 21-22; Lansing, Michigan, on October 19-20; and Renton, Washington, on November 8-9.
Often described as “speed dating for the cannabis industry,” Interchange is a private, two-day business event in which producers, processors and some ancillary companies meet with dozens of retailers with a chance to make new clients or offer new lines and new products to familiar partners. For both buyers and sellers, the event is designed to save time and money and to keep the focus on what matters most.
